Halloween
Students at Arno Elementary have a half day on Monday, October 31st. Children may come to school dressed in his/her Halloween costume. Please leave costume weapons and accessories at home.
Students do not need to bring in candy. However, if you would like to send in candy, candy will be put in ziploc bags and the bags will be sent home.
STUDENTS SHOULD LEAVE THEIR BACKPACKS AT HOME ON MONDAY!
Halloween Schedule
8:30-9:30 Halloween Activities in the Classroom
*No parents/guardians are needed.
9:30-10:15 Halloween Bingo in the Cafeteria
*Parents/Guardians are invited to help.
10:15am Class Picture in the Cafeteria
*Parents/Guardians are invited to take a picture of the class.
10:30am Halloween Parade
*Weather permitting, the parade will go in and outside of the school.
*Families will want to find a spot along the sidewalk to watch the Halloween Parade.
*** If you are planning on signing your child out after the parade, please me in the classroom to sign out your child. If you wish, you may also sign your child out in the office. However, the office will be extra busy with sign-out requests.

Field Trip-River Raisin National Battlefield Park
On Tuesday, October 26th, the third graders went to River Raisin National Battlefield Park in Monroe. While there, the students learned about Native Americans, especially the Wyandot/Wyandotte Native Americans. We attended 7 learning stations on the field trip. The students learned their language, customs, and history.
Halloween Concert
On Wednesday, October 26th, the 3rd graders performed in a Halloween themed concert.
And the Winner is…
The Fun Run totals are in! We have a tie in third grade for Fun Run top earner! As a result, Samantha M. & Kellen will be going on a limo ride and out to lunch with Mr. Zielinski and the grade level top Fun Run earners. Congratulations Samantha and Kellen!
October Super Cougar
Sammy is our October Super Cougar. She is caring, respectful, responsible, and safe! Way to go Sammy!
Math Test-Chapter 3
Congratulatioins to Matthew, Rosie, Mallory, Grant, Jake, Kylee, and Ben for earning 100% on their Chapter 3 Math Test. Chapter 3 was about addition with and without regrouping.
